Take stock

Now that you’re back in the swing of things, you might be noticing areas that aren’t quite working for you. Maybe you want to work more. Maybe you want to work less. Or maybe you just need a bit more flexibility in your day to manage the demands of home and work life.

Make a list of what’s working. Review your list. High five – keep it up. Now, make a list of what’s not working. Divide that list into what you can control, and what you can’t. For the stuff you can control, write down how you can improve it. For the stuff outside of your control, it’s time to let it go.

 Check your wellbeing

Perinatal mental health distress can still occur at this stage in your parenting journey. You can assess your risk of anxiety and stress by registering, and using our free self-assessment tool.
